Love the #green … hope the fur is faux.
#Louisville demonstrated amazing heart in yesterday’s game against the Blue Devils … even after their main man suffered a compound fracture of his leg, they came back with the same full-court press and plowed through to a thorough victory. Lots of firsts in this game. For me, the first Blue Devil opponent I have loved. Go get ‘em, #Cardinals !!!

Thank you, Tumblr Radar, for this lovely lumberjack find … and (sorry, cannot resist) I just have to quote Monty Python here:
He’s a lumberjack, and he’s okay.
He sleeps all night and he works all day.
He’s a lumberjack, and he’s okaaaaay.
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

Talking about living on the other side of the world you would think facebook would help you “Keep in contact with your friends” as the tag line reads something like this.
Facebook is like that annoying kid who lived in your neighbourhood, that no one really liked, but you always called him up to make enough players for your after school football game on the empty block of land down the road.
Facebook is very quickly shooting its self in the foot with the “news feed” this is a “nonsense feed” a place where you post youtube videos of cats doing backflips and photos of a turd on the ground that makes the face of a ninja turtle. This is shit talk between friends and this is all facebook ever was and should be. I use facebook because I live on the other side of the world to most of my good friends, it used to be nice when facebook was programmed that the more interaction I had with people the more I would see of them, which was a really great way to keep in contact with my friends.
Now I live in Brooklyn and my facebook page is filled with random shit related to brooklyn and New York, and “suggestions” of crap I don’t care about. I think facebook has taken the title of the “News feed” a little too literarily, the ‘news feed” is now a classified, with people trying to sell you shit and asking you to like their page, I mean what’s the use of a facebook like if no one sees your page? Now businesses pay for the space and for what you see on facebook and now that’s all I see. I am predicting that this is the beginning of the end. People are ok with the fact that facebook takes your information and sells it to marketing agencies, people are ok that they own everything you put up there, people seem to be ok with the fact that if you are in a relationship it automatically makes you an “US” page, people know this and are ok with this, but take away the only reason people use it and i’m not sure people will stick around. I just want to see videos of cats doing backflips, don’t you? This is why I started using instagram, to only see things friends are posting up, no crap, no ads etc… and then facebook bought it and turned it into a shit show…
I also just want to add that the amount of information on the facebook home page is a cluster fuck of shit that no one cares about, does no one really ever look at this thing and think that it is the worst designed web page they have ever ever seen? ever!
Anyway like the annoying kid who lived down the street who we would call up to make sure we had even teams for our after school football match, i’ll keep “using” it to make sure I keep in contact with my good friends, I just have to take the long route to see who has recently posted a photo of a turn that looks like a ninja turtle. And at the end of the day, I will miss my friends, I would never miss facebook.
All of my vague, heretofore indescribable Facebook misgivings are now given a face and a wise rant … see tencentdime.tumblr.com for the visual snack.

Techno fabulosity for fall …
Digital prints - patterns made modern.
Printed dress, Oscar de la Renta.
I wonder how many of us Coco lovers will take our Chanel bags (or, in my much more humble case, wallet) to the grave … I am thinking Karl would be very much in favor of this idea.
